Pacific Research & Strategies, Inc. captures three prestigious 2007 PRism Awards from Public Relations Society of America-Los Angeles

Long Beach-based firm earns industry recognition for innovative work in website development, crisis communications and social/influencer marketing campaigns

Los Angeles, CA – In a gala event held at the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel, Pacific Research & Strategies, Inc. (PRSI) captured three prestigious 2007 PRism Awards of Excellence in the categories of External Website, Crisis Communications and Social/Influencer Marketing from the Public Relations Society of America-Los Angeles Chapter (PRSA-LA).

The three wins raises the total number to five PRism Awards the Long Beach-based firm has earned in just the past four years. Earlier this year, PRSI earned a coveted 2007 Silver Anvil Award from the national Public Relations Society of America for its work on behalf of the Shingle Springs Rancheria, a Native American tribe near Sacramento...

The PRism Awards, which annually recognize outstanding programs and materials created by public relations professionals working in the Greater Los Angeles area, are amongst the highest honors bestowed upon public relations firms across the country.

PRSA-LA is comprised of over 500 public relations professionals, representing many of Southern California's corporations, public relations agencies, independent practitioners, educational and health institutions. The organization recognized PRSI’s exemplary work in the following categories:

• External Website – Shingle Springs Rancheria tribal government website
• Social/Influencer Marketing – San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, 2006 statewide television advertising campaign
• Crisis Communications – Shingle Springs Rancheria attack campaign vs. El Dorado County

“We are thrilled to be recognized by our industry peers for the extraordinary work performed by the members of the PRSI team,” said PRSI President and CEO Rod Wilson. “We went up against some of the biggest firms in the industry in these categories. Needless to say, I’m very proud of our team’s accomplishments.”

“We have a small but highly dedicated and talented staff that continues to deliver exceptional results for our clients without fail,” Wilson added. “Even when they’re facing complex problems or impossible deadlines, they work together with remarkable professionalism to create award-winning projects and campaigns.”
