Pacific Research & Strategies, Inc. earns 12 2008 MarCom Awards from Association of Marketing & Communications Professionals

Long Beach-based public relations firm recognized for exemplary work by international competition drawing thousands of entries worldwide

Long Beach, CA - Pacific Research & Strategies, Inc. (PRSI) once again secured its place amongst the elite public relations firms in Southern California by winning 12 2008 MarCom Awards as presented by the Association of Marketing & Communications Professionals.

Overall, PRSI scored in a dozen different categories, receiving three Platinum Awards, judged among the most outstanding competition entries, five Gold Awards, which exceed the high standards of the industry norm, and four Honorable Mentions.

With the 12 MarCom wins, PRSI has amassed 34 total national public relations awards in 2008 alone...

The MarCom Awards is an annual international competition recognizing outstanding creative achievements by marketing and communication professionals.

The competition is one of largest of its kind in the world. Winners past and present have ranged in size from individuals to media conglomerates and Fortune 50 companies.

Thousands of entries from firms throughout the United States and several foreign countries were submitted for the 2008 MarCom Awards.

Judging is conducted by industry professionals looking for companies and individuals whose talents exceed a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
