Long Beach-based public relations firm recognized for exemplary work by international competition drawing more than 5,000 entries

Long Beach, CA - Pacific Research & Strategies, Inc. (PRSI) established a new standard of excellence in the public relations industry by winning 12 prestigious 2007 MarCom Awards as presented by the Association of Marketing & Communications Professionals.

Overall, PRSI scored in a dozen different categories, receiving four Platinum Awards, judged to be the most outstanding entries in the competition, four Gold Awards, judged to exceed the high standards of the industry norm, and four Honorable Mention Awards, judged to meet the exacting standards and expectations of the judges.

The competition is perhaps the largest and most respected of its kind in the world. Winners past and present have ranged in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 50 companies.

More than 5,000 entries from firms throughout the United States and several foreign countries were submitted for the 2007 MarCom Awards.
