FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A traveling Holocaust exhibit is now on display at Fresno's Woodward Park Library.

"The Courage to Remember: The Holocaust 1933-1945" is produced by the Simon Wiesenthal Center's Museum of Tolerance. and features more than 200 photographs that can't be seen anywhere else.

Its creators say the exhibit strives to fight intolerance.

A Fresno woman who lost family members in the Holocaust says it's important that people remember what happened both in memory of the victims and as a message of caution.

"Sometimes people say that it couldn't happen again. And I think it certainly could. We're capable of cruelty and misunderstanding and blaming other groups for all kinds of ills," Judith Reposo of Fresno said

"The Courage to Remember" is on display at the Woodward Park Regional Library through August 13. So far more than 350 thousand people have seen the exhibit in California alone.
