Since this past summer, Mission Viejo High School has worked to get an opportunity to host the "Courage to Remember" Holocaust Exhibit.

Recently, an opening came up to host it, so our administrative team agreed to bring the exhibit to Mission Viejo High School.

The exhibit was set up in one of our empty classrooms Mar. 19 through Mar. 28, and social classes visited each day. In addition to all social science classes, some teachers in other disciplines used the exhibit for a special instructional activity as well.

The exhibit is part of the Simon Wiesenthal Center's Museum of Tolerance and has traveled extensively around California, across the U.S. and overseas for over 20 years.

In November, the exhibit opened in Mumbai, India, and is heading to Nairobi, Kenya later this month and then to Manila in the late spring.

We are fortunate to be included in the list of places that this exhibit will be shown.

You can learn more about the Traveling Holocaust Exhibit at their website, www.couragetoremember.com.
